APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER – SEYCHELLES PORTS AUTHORITY
The Board of the Seychelles Ports Authority (SPA) has today announced the appointment of Mr. Pierre Prosper as the Chief Executive Officer of the SPA.
Mr. Pierre Prosper is a seasoned shipping, trade, and finance professional with extensive experience across commercial shipping, yacht agency, and port operations. With a strong track record in fleet management, chartering optimisation, and maritime investment, he brings a wealth of expertise and strategic insight into the role of Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Prosper holds an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from City University – CASS Business School in London, as well as a Master of Physics (MPhys) in Theoretical Physics from the University of Wales, Swansea. His professional strengths include shipping investment and finance, chartering strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Prosper’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles Ports Authority takes effect on 1 May 2026.
The Board also expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to the outgoing Chief Executive Officer and Acting Chief Executive Officer for their dedicated services and contributions to the Authority during their tenure.
