APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER – SEYCHELLES PORTS AUTHORITY
The Board of the Seychelles Ports Authority (SPA) has today announced the appointment of Mr. Ronny Matatiken as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the SPA.
Mr. Ronny Matatiken is a distinguished maritime security and operations professional with extensive experience of maritime domain awareness, port security, and strategic operations coordination. With a strong record of accomplishment in capacity building, information sharing, and operational command, he brings a wealth of expertise and strategic insight to the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Matatiken holds an MSc in Intelligence and Security from the University of Metropolitan London and John Moore University. His professional strengths include maritime law enforcement, hydrography, intelligence and counterintelligence, as well as human resources and financial management.
Mr. Matatiken’s appointment as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles Ports Authority takes effect on 1 May 2026.
The Board also expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to the outgoing Deputy Chief Executive Officer for her dedicated service and contributions to the Authority during her tenure.
