Port Victoria Management Information System (PVMIS)

 The Port Victoria Management Information System (PVMIS) is part of a programme of infrastructure, organisational change and automation projects for the SPA to modernise its quays, jetties and terminals. It consists of two main components;

       1. Administrations Management Information System

       2. Port Operations Management Information System

 The implementation of PVMIS will allow Port Victoria to be in compliant with the International Maritime Organisation’s regulations which encourage the use of the so-called ‘single window’ concept in which all agencies and authorities exchange data via a single point contact. Through the maritime single window, vessels will be required to submit only one set of information electronically, rather than submitting multiple paper forms thus rendering the process more efficient.
