Mr Brian Charlette boasts a total of 23 years in internal audit and 15 years in public debt management. Before joining SPA in 2018, Mr Charlette was the Director General of the Debt Management Division of the Ministry of Finance, Trade and Economic Planning. A post he had held since 2005. Prior to this, he had been the Senior Internal Auditor and Deputy Chief Internal Auditor with the same Ministry, undertaking audits of all government ministries and departments. In his current role, he provides independent, objective assurance to the Board of the effectiveness of SPA’s governance structures and internal controls.
